Research Process

Research Process

  1. Collection of Ideas
Ideas are sourced from various channels with a set deadline. Guidance and templates are provided, and researchers relate to ADOT champions.

  2. Organization of Ideas
Collected ideas are stored in a centralized repository, organized by themes and relevance for easy access and tracking.

  3. Sorting and Filtering
Ideas are sorted and filtered to determine the appropriate PAC. Only relevant or redundant ideas are included, and budgets are reviewed.

  4. Ranking and Prioritization
Ideas are ranked and prioritized based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with strategic goals to focus on the most promising ones.

  5. Define Project Tracks
Project tracks are defined, indicating whether AzTI-recommended researchers or procurement tracks will be used and by whom.

  6. Steps to Follow at Each Track
Detailed steps are outlined for each track, providing clear actions, timelines, and responsibilities to ensure smooth project progress.

  7. Awarding Grants
Agreements are signed between researchers and AzTI, ensuring all legal and administrative requirements are met.

  8. Kickoff
A formal launch meeting is held to brief all stakeholders on project objectives, timelines, and roles, ensuring everyone is prepared to start the project.
