Tejo Bheemasetti
Dr. Tejo Bheemasetti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil & Architectural Engineering & Mechanics at the University of Arizona (UofA). His research focuses on both fundamental and applied aspects of geotechnical engineering to develop solutions for mitigating distress caused by problematic soils. Dr. Bheemasetti’s research has been sponsored by organizations such as the National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Foundation, Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS), and NASA. He holds a BS and MS in civil engineering from GMRIT - JNTU and IIT Kharagpur, respectively, and a PhD in geotechnical engineering from UTA. Dr. Bheemasetti has authored over 50 peer-reviewed research articles and is a member of the standing geotechnical committees in ASCE and TRB
