Hao Xin
Dr. Hao Xin is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Physics at the University of Arizona (UofA) and an IEEE Fellow. His research focuses on high-frequency technologies ranging from microwave to terahertz, including circuits, antennas, and materials such as metamaterials and nanomaterials. These technologies have applications in wireless communication, sensing, biomedical fields, and energy harvesting. Before joining UofA, Dr. Xin worked at Rockwell Scientific Co. and Raytheon Missile Systems. He has authored over 300 papers, holds more than 20 patents, and has served in various editorial and leadership roles within IEEE. His research has received over $14 million in support from numerous government agencies and industry sources.
