Dr. Kenneth Sullivan is a Professor in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at Arizona State University (ASU). His research focuses on construction management, facilities management, performance-based contracting, risk management, and optimizing project delivery methods to improve outcomes in construction and infrastructure projects. Dr. Sullivan specializes in integrating sustainable practices within the construction industry to enhance both economic and environmental performance. His work has led to over $12 million in research funding and has been implemented in more than 140 organizations on projects valued at over $10 billion. With a background in civil and environmental engineering and an MBA in Real Estate and Urban Economics, he has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications and co-authored a book on managing profitable construction businesses. Dr. Sullivan is recognized for his expertise in organizational transformation, procurement, project delivery, and performance measurement. He has received multiple teaching awards and has been instrumental in creating new programs and courses in facility asset and project management.
