Sarah Bratt

Assistant Professor, University of Arizona

Dr. Sarah Bratt is an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona’s College of Information Science. She holds a B.S. in Philosophy from Ithaca College and an M.S. in Library and Information Science with a Data Science certificate from Syracuse University. Dr. Bratt’s research focuses on scholarly communication, research data management, and the science of science, with a particular interest in long-term research data sustainability and actionable science policy. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Quantitative Science Studies, Journal of Informetrics, and Scientometrics. She has been a research fellow at the Laboratory of Innovation Science at Harvard and a fellow at the College of Information Science Inclusion Institute (i3). Dr. Bratt has received several awards, including the Master’s Prize in Library & Information Science from Syracuse University and honorable mention as a 2022 Better Scientific Software (BSSw) Fellow. Her key research areas include research data management, scientometrics, metadata, and community data archives.
