Hee Jeong Kim

Dr. Hee-Jeong Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil & Architectural Engineering & Mechanics at the University of Arizona (UofA). She holds a BS, MS, and PhD in civil and environmental engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and completed postdoctoral research at MIT. Dr. Kim specializes in the multi-scale chemo-mechanical characterization of advanced materials in civil engineering. Her research focuses on designing and developing new construction materials through advanced computational modeling and experimental characterization, improving the sustainability and resilience of civil infrastructure, and utilizing digital fabrication, including large-scale printing.
