FAQ

AZTI is primarily funded by State Planning and Research Program Subpart B (SPR-B) through ADOT. We are also expanding our research portfolio through partnerships with other organizations, such as Arizona Board of Regents and the National Safety Council.

Final reports are published through AZGeo. Each completed project includes a link to its final report on the project’s information page on this website.

If you would like to sign up for our mailing list, please fill out this form. Or you can follow us on LinkedIn to receive announcements, project updates, and upcoming events.

Project durations vary depending on the scope and complexity of the research. Most projects are completed within 12 to 24 months, although some may require additional time.

Anyone may submit a research idea. If you have a topic or challenge you believe warrants further study, please submit it using our online idea submission form.

If you are an employee of ADOT or a faculty member at U of A, ASU, or NAU and need more project-specific information about AZTI or the research project lifecycle, please create an account through the AZTI Research Portal.

The AZTI Research Portal serves as the central hub for research cycle documentation, Calls for Proposals, project resources, and other information needed by researchers and project stakeholders.

Please allow up to 24 hours after registering for an AZTI staff member to review and approve your account.

If you have questions that are not addressed in this FAQ, please contact the Arizona Transpiration Institute at AZTI@arizona.edu. We are happy to assist and provide additional information.
